We are proud to announce the mention of MIAC (CIAM) for the GAR Awards 2021 in the category “jurisdiction that has made the greatest progress” (in relation to international arbitration). One of the candidates is Spain as a result of the following two relevant events:<\/p>\n

1) The ruling of the Constitutional Court 46\/2020 of\u00a0June\u00a015th, which establishes high standards for the judicial control of awards by the courts.<\/p>\n

2) The creation by MIAC (CIAM) of the International Commission, in charge of defining the limit between international arbitration and domestic arbitration and made up of 15 experts of recognized prestige in the legal and arbitration sector.<\/p>\n

We encourage all professionals in the sector to participate in this type of voting and initiative, since it is relevant for the promotion and improvement of international arbitration. The\u00a0#GARawards<\/a>\u00a0ceremony will take place\u00a0on July 1st, 2021, as part of the Paris Arbitration Week.<\/p>\n

Estamos orgullosos de anunciar la menci\u00f3n de MIAC (CIAM) para los Premios GAR 2021 en la categor\u00eda “jurisdicci\u00f3n que ha hecho los mayores progresos” (en relaci\u00f3n con el arbitraje internacional). Uno de los candidatos es Espa\u00f1a como consecuencia de los dos eventos relevantes siguientes:<\/p>\n

1) La sentencia del Tribunal Constitucional 46\/2020 de 15 de junio, que establece altos est\u00e1ndares para el control judicial de los laudos por parte de los tribunales.<\/p>\n

2) La creaci\u00f3n por parte del MIAC (CIAM) de la Comisi\u00f3n Internacional, encargada de definir el l\u00edmite entre el arbitraje internacional y el arbitraje nacional e formada por 15 expertos de reconocido prestigio en el sector jur\u00eddico y arbitral.<\/p>\n
