Designa\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00c1rbitros (a \u201cComiss\u00e3o\u201d) tem a fun\u00e7\u00e3o de confirmar os \u00e1rbitros propostos pelas partes e de designar \u00e1rbitros quando as partes n\u00e3o chegarem a um acordo, contando para isso com o apoio da Secretaria do Centro e em conformidade com o <strong>Regulamento de Arbitragem<\/strong> e as <strong>Regras de designa\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong>, confirma\u00e7\u00e3o e nomea\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00c1rbitros.<\/p><p>A Comiss\u00e3o \u00e9 presidida pelo Presidente do CIIAM e conta com membros externos nomeados pelo Plen\u00e1rio por um per\u00edodo de dois anos. Esses membros externos s\u00e3o profissionais com experi\u00eancia e prest\u00edgio no mundo jur\u00eddico internacional, totalmente independentes do CIIAM e com um cargo n\u00e3o remunerado.<\/p><p>Durante o per\u00edodo em que exercem o seu cargo, os membros da Comiss\u00e3o n\u00e3o podem ser propostos nem designados pelo Centro. O mesmo se aplica quando o Centro atua como Autoridade Nomeadora.
